SECURITY Tools bv is a company (wholesale-brokering-retail) in products for mechanical security.
In security, privacy is very important. Therefore, our company always pays attention to client privacy. SECURITY Tools bv takes care of appropriate organizational and technical measures to secure personal data.

We collect and store customer personal data as securely as reasonably possible and in strict compliance with applicable data protection legislation, including the General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 of April 27, 2016 ("GDPR").

As a customer, you will notice that for maximum privacy, we do not place social media buttons or like buttons on our site. This is a conscious decision to increase your privacy. If YOU advertise our company of your own accord, we will of course be grateful.

What personal data do we collect for what?

Buying and paying online

When you buy through our webshop https://www.security-tools-shop.be purchase and pay for a product, we need some information from you, such as your name, address, e-mail address and your payment information. This information is needed to deliver the products you ordered to your delivery address and to make payment.

No personal data is collected on the websites www.security-tools.be, www.kluizenite, www.st-raambeveiliging.be and www.dom-sleutelservice.be. Information or quotations are only sent by email or post at the express request of the customer.

Contact with customer service

If for any reason when contacting our customer service department (by mail or phone) you are asked for your personal information such as name, address, email address and phone number, this information will only be used for the sole purpose of answering your question in the best and quickest way possible. If you do not want to give certain information, you can always mention it.

Provision of your personal information to third parties

In order to deliver ordered products to your delivery address, your name, email and address are communicated to third parties, such as the transport company working for us, BPost, etc. Without communicating these details, no shipment can take place.

Similarly, your name, address and contact information may be passed on to a supplier or manufacturer if the product you order is shipped directly from the supplier or manufacturer to your shipping address.

Your payment information will not be disclosed to anyone except for the purpose of detecting fraud and other illegalities.

We limit the information we share with third parties to only the purposes for which the other person needs it, such as a shipping address. We always take care to preserve your privacy to the maximum extent possible.

If desired, customers can also purchase security products such as safes from us anonymously at any time.

Duplication of security keys

For the duplication of a security key, we ask the customer to email or mail us a copy (scan) of the ownership certificate. Once the order is fulfilled and the customer receives the new key, all order data such as the copy of the ownership certificate will be deleted.

No files are created with data of clients in which key codes or cylinder codes are processed. Nor does SECURITY Tools bv in any way automatically keep records of which security cylinder codes were sold to which clients. A client receives their certificate of ownership upon purchase and is fully responsible for the proper storage of this data.

All printed data concerning customers' confidential information for processing an order shall always be systematically destroyed by shredding after completion of this order.

Key copies are always sent by registered BPOST package. This offers the most guarantee for your security. For maximum security, you can of course also pick up your keys or other security products in person at our warehouse in Lokeren.

Right to be forgotten

The GDPR states that all organizations that process personal data must delete it upon request if certain conditions are met.

You may obtain erasure of your personal data if and to the extent that your personal data are no longer needed to complete a current order.
